Buddhist Goddess of Compassion and Love
Our very existence as mortal beings from the moment of birth
is dependent on the delusion of maya and its attendant duality.
Till we merge with immortal omnipresent Spirit
there will be, according to our level of consciousness, some degree of duality.
Thus we think in terms of life/death, night/day, happiness/sadness,
Perhaps this is the reason so few people venture beyond the mindset that
everything and everyone must be neatly categorized with no continuum.
If we would but be observant we might realize that
duality is a delusion that binds us,
we might venture on to our goal of immortality
beyond limitations, boundaries, and attempts at limited classifications.
It is up to each individual to learn to
break the delusive bonds of maya
and realize their own immortal self
and all of creation
as one with the universal Spirit.
